We recommend not storing the pieces in hot or humid conditions. If weather conditions necessitate, store them separately in sealed plastic bags to prevent discoloration or loss of shine.

Keep them away from makeup, skincare, hair products, and perfumes, as these chemicals can cause tarnishing and gradual wear. It is advisable to apply makeup before wearing accessories and to remove them when applying makeup or perfumes, bathing, or engaging in intense physical activities.

When removing accessories, either before applying makeup or at the end of the day, ensure they are stored in separate bags to prevent scratches. For this reason, Brilliena always includes specialized bags with each shipment. After removing accessories, clean them with a soft, lint-free cloth and store them in separate bags or a sealed plastic bag (zip-lock) to avoid scratches.

We also recommend removing all jewelry before sleeping at night.

Occasionally clean the stones in your jewelry with a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe away any salts and oils.

Avoid pulling jewelry from the stones; instead, remove them from the metal chain. Pearls, amber, coral, and other organic stones should be cleaned gently, as these are soft and porous. Be particularly cautious with organic stones as chemicals, makeup, perfumes, lotions, and skincare products can easily damage them and cause stains.

Using chemicals and soap can change the color of opaque stones like turquoise and lapis lazuli. Gently wipe these stones with a damp cloth.

Some stones are softer than others and can be more prone to scratching. Please take special care when wearing jewelry with stones.

Do not allow acids, chemicals, or solvents like chlorine, sulfur, and detergents to come into contact with any of the stones in your jewelry.
